WALKING CITY TOUR

We will start our visit in San lazaro neighborhood one of the oldest in Arequipa city center, we can still enjoy walking in cobbled Stone streets , houses made of this volcanic Stone (ignimbrita), walls decorated with flowers and iron Windows, then we
continue to San Francisco Plaza and the Church with this beatiful great walls and Jacaranda tres decorating the Plaza, the first school for girls in Arequipa, we keep walking through San Francisco St. we will see the Bishop palace and Triztan del pozo house today Continental bank with this impressive facade, and do not forget Cathedral Street behind the Cathedral with Little restaurants, until Main Square were Arequipa was found in 1540, if its possible we visit tha Cathedral, we can not miss la Compañía Church locate don the corner of the Plaza with its impressive facade that is consider the best expresión of Hybrid barroc style in America, the interior is also beautiful, San Ignasio Chapel known also as the Sixtina Chapel completed painted

Camilo local Market builded at the begining of 1900, this is a must in the city to feel and enjoy the essence of the city, fruits, potatotes, meet, vegetables, flowers, a little witches section. And to finish we will visit Santa Catalina Monastery (with a guide). When we finish we can suggest a typical lunch in a restaurant ( Picanteria).
